System process as below
- Controller system display tank water and collector temperature
- Automatic filling water by ball valve assistant tank or by controller through water level sensor and magnetic valve.
- Temperature difference control .Setting the tank and collector temperature difference as ΔT, when temperature more than ΔT,the circulation works to push the collector hot water to exchange the tank water .While the temperature drop down under ΔT, the circulation pump stops. This way will routine until sun down.
- Pipeline circulation: In order to supply hot water immediately ,when pipeline temperature lower then setting valve, circulation pump works to exchange the hot water from tank to pipeline.
- Heating Equipment controller: there will be backup heating equipment, when there is no sun energy or lower solar energy , the heating equipment works to heating the water tank unitil reaching the setting temperature.
- Anti-frozen circulation: Purpose to protect the collector pipeline.When extrem cold , circulation will circulate the hot water from tank to collector for protection purpose.
It is common used for hospital ,school, factory ,spa and other commercial usage. Now in China a lot of project is applied for saving energy and usually this system is combined with air source heat pump for steady hot water supply.
Close loop commercial solar hot water system
Close loop commercial solar hot water system is working under pressurized situation. The installation will be much easier than non-pressurized. We need pay may attention in pressure balance ( expansion tank needed), safety equipment( safety valve, pressure gauge and so on) and system heating without block(air vent needed).
The system usually complete following device:

Pressurized solar collector: flat panel solar collector and vacuum type solar collector
Controller system (pressurized use type)
This closed loop solar collector hot water system is composed by pressurized solar collector ,pipeline,circulation pump,controller system. Tank usually design with coil heat exchange for heat exchange, if the tank without insider heat exchanger, the system will install heat exchange outside tank for heat exchange purpose.
And heat exchange media will be always anti-frozen fluid.
